Justice

The most widely held understanding of justice refers to that which people deserve. We believe that justice is better defined in terms of the things that people need. From this definition, situations like homelessness, poverty, racism, exploitation, abuse, and many others become issues of justice. This type of justice is often referred to as "social justice", and it is to organizations that promote this type of justice that we dedicate our efforts.

Affordability

For many reasons, hiring effective computer personnel has become a costly undertaking. Because most social justice organizations, individuals and small family businesses have considerably tighter budgets than other corporations or groups, they are often unable to afford the costs required to secure quality computer support. As such, many of the benefits that may be reaped by appropriate use of computer technology are not available to such organizations.

PeaceWorks was conceived with these concepts of justice and affordability in mind. In order to make the benefits of appropriate computer technology available to justice-oriented groups and businesses, PeaceWorks provides affordable, high-quality consulting services. Fees vary depending on the financial strength of the organization, with one rate scale for non-profit/charities, and another for businesses. Using this approach, our more financially strong clients effectively subsidize those with less monetary resources and both receive top-shelf computer consulting support.
