CRA-Compliant CiviCRM Receipting Module

CiviCRM is an excellent tool for managing contacts and interactions, but, unfortunately, it does not provide the ability to receipt donors in a way that complies with Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) guidelines. Thanks to our work with a number of Canadian charities and not-for-profits, we have developed a module that provides a CRA-compliant PDF-based receipt generation for CiviCRM.

Features of the module include:

• CRA-compliant PDF receipts sent to the donor after authorized payment
• Admin functionality to print and/or re-send "duplicate" receipts (appropriately marked)
• Tested production use with CiviCRM 3.2; should work with 3.3
• Tested production use with PayPal gateway; should work with others as well

NOTE: We are in the process of moving this module to drupal.org and setting up an official project for it, but in the interim, we wanted to provide the community with the opportunity to preview the functionality, provide comments and other feedback, and test it out on their own systems.
